On that day, the peak gust recorded at Truax Field in Madison, WI was 91 mph. Madison was at the far western edge of the monster storm. Over a thousand miles wide!
I'm a retired professional photographer. Throughout my life, I've loved water in all it's forms... clear ponds, desert flash floods, icecaps and glaciers.
This blog is a showcase of unusual and thoughtful photos on the theme of water. Unless otherwise noted, I captured the photos.
The photos are from around the world... but some are of local interest only to Madison, WI.
